Eugenia Duke invented the recipe for Duke’s Mayonnaise in 1917 in Greenville, South Carolina. 100 years later, the makers of Duke’s gathered on a beautiful spring night to celebrate this important anniversary for “The Secret To Great Food.”
Elevation was there to celebrate. And to work! We not only filmed famous regional chefs that day for a new series of Duke’s television commercials, but also shot footage during the event of attendees making and enjoying the quintessential Southern sandwich: tomato on white bread with salt, pepper and Duke’s Mayonnaise. You can see this sandwich featured on the special-edition centennial label Elevation designed for 2017.
Congratulations to everyone at C.F. Sauer for reaching this impressive milestone!
