The Payments Company was a successful firm looking to take the next step in its growth journey. As a developer of an electronic payment software platform, the company recognized that its own brand was not aligned with the level of innovation the company provides. With that in mind, they contracted with Elevation to undergo a 360° rebranding effort.
We did extensive research, looking both within and outside of the organization, in order to gain a deeper view of the brand. This research was overlaid with competitor research to determine where there was an opportunity to differentiate. The outcome of this work was a new messaging platform built around a powerful brand promise: Accounts Profitable. The idea is that the company provides an electronic payment service which is simple, secure and profitable—allowing its clients to actually turn their accounts payable departments into profit centers.
With the messaging work complete, Elevation began the process of developing a new identity. The name Paymerang was selected to reflect the fact that our electronic payments approach returns money back to companies in the form of rewards on each transaction. The company also had a stated desire to have their external marketing appearance feel as innovative and energetic as the team within. The new name, coupled with a dynamic logo and graphic palette intended to work well in a digital workspace, achieved this goal.
Elevation crafted all the materials needed for the relaunch of the brand, including complete website development and creation of a full suite of B2B marketing collateral. We produced the video below to introduce potential clients to our brand messaging. Since launch the brand has helped Paymerang grow its accounts while also growing its staff, thanks to an appealing, forward thinking brand.
