Young businesses thrive on growth in new markets. That’s why Alton Lane, a custom clothier that is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the menswear industry, asked Elevation to develop a direct mail program that could be used in new markets to drive store appointments—and sales.
Working collaboratively with the Alton Lane team, we developed a sampling strategy tied to a high-end gift offer. Each mailer contained a custom card offering a free custom dress shirt in exchange for making a personal fitting appointment at new stores.
The program has been successful at driving substantial initial traffic in new locations across the United States, while creating an opportunity for Alton Lane to create brand loyalty by delivering an exceptional in-store experience.
